Eric Ding is an Associate at Legal Scale. His practice primarily focuses on corporate transactions, including private security offerings and mergers and acquisitions, as well as general corporate matters. Eric also assists clients on intellectual property issues, such as general intellectual property transactions and trademark strategy analysis and implementation.
Prior to joining Legal Scale, Eric worked in corporate transaction groups of major international law firms, focusing on acquisitions by public companies. In addition, Eric was in charge of communications with regulators from the Securities and Exchange Commission and other government agencies. Utilizing his software engineering experience, Eric has designed and developed software and algorithms to automate and facilitate legal document drafting. Eric brings value from the intersection of law and technology to his clients.
Eric received his J.D. from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, his M.L.A. with a concentration in Software Engineering from Harvard Extension School, and his B.A. in Communications from New York University. He is admitted to the bar in New York. Eric is based out of Dallas, TX.
